FREQUENTLY ASKED Q&As

A Virtual Recruitment Fair is an online career fair platform that extends the opportunity for new and experienced job seekers to connect with employers looking to recruit and hire diverse talent. It’s also designed for universities to recruit prospective students. (Mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and desktops are all compatible.)
Absolutely! You and your recruitment team will receive both an easy-to-read booth set-up PDF as well as a short, easy-to-follow video.
One week prior to event date, we will offer a live platform information session. The recorded version will be available to share with personnel who were unable to attend. A separate live (and recorded) instructional session will be offered to registered candidates.
  • Access a nationwide pool of job-seeking candidates
  • Manage your own company chat room and sessions with unlimited recruiters
  • Interact with candidates as a group or privately
  • Tool to conduct video interviews
  • Access to search and screen resumes from database of registered candidates
  • School profile, logo, and job postings
  • Technology to include pre-recoded video presentations and/or live presentations
  • Save time, travel, and staff required to participate in all day, on-site events
  • Eliminate transportation and overhead costs associated with booth design and production
Participants need only a computer and internet access to participate. Webcams, avatars, and photos are NOT required, but nice to use. Interactions between employers and participants will be primarily through text chatting. However, the video chat feature is often used.

For the best experience, participants should log on using an up-to-date version of Google Chrome (preferred) or Firefox from a desktop/laptop; these are required to be able to view/ hear any multimedia broadcasts presented by employers. The most up-to-date versions of Safari, Internet Explorer 11, and Microsoft Edge will also work.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT

Each event has a dedicated event manager who assists the hosts in planning the event before it is live and ensuring its smooth operation when it is in action. The event manager and responsive customer support team are available round-the-clock when the event is live with people particularly up to speed with the unique mechanics of the event at hand.
